Dinallo to Combat Predatory Lenders, Civil Rights Violations

Eric Dinallo, Democratic candidate for Attorney General, today outlined his plan to crack down on predatory lending, including the investigation of potential civil rights violations. Dinallo, the only candidate to serve in the Attorney General’s office, will partner the Civil Rights Bureau with his newly-created Consumer Financial Products Unit. The team will lead the charge against discriminatory lending practices that force New Yorkers into unfair lending terms based on their gender and/or race.
