Taking On The Tough Fights

Eric Dinallo has a proven record of protecting New Yorkers, standing up to dangerous criminals, Wall Street, and powerful interests. As a former Assistant District Attorney,  Assistant Attorney General, and head of the New York State Insurance Department, Eric has the experience and independence to watch over our safety, our rights, and our pocketbooks.

The Attorney General is the people's fighter who has the power to take on injustice – whether it be in Albany or on Wall Street, whether it targets our children or our parents, or whether it is a local issue or national matter.

It means going after public corruption and demanding that our elected officials put the people's interest ahead of the special interests.

It means protecting consumers from financial fraud, insurance malpractice, and other schemes that exploit everyday New Yorkers.

It means acting as an enforcer to make sure everyone – from the Capitol to investment banks to the insurance companies – plays by the same rules and is held to the same standards.

It means taking on the NRA and keeping illegal guns off of our streets and out of schools, going after scam artists who target our seniors, and fending off the threats to our families and communities.

It means making the office accessible so that all New Yorkers can call on their Attorney General for help.

Standing up to these challenges requires strength, experience and commitment. From Eric’s time in the Manhattan D.A.’s office where he sent violent criminals to prison, to his work in the Attorney General’s office where he held the country’s biggest financial firms accountable for fraud, Eric has stood up to defend New Yorkers.

And now, he is ready to take on their fights as Attorney General.
